Arab Property Insurance
In the GCC gulf countries property insurance isn't as big a factor as some other areas in the world due to lower crime rates. However do not overlook arab property insurance just becuase of the low crime, many other property insurance risks affect people living in the gulf. These include fire and other house hold hazards. Fire is a major insurance risk in the gulf as the dryness makes fire a very real threat.
Many people who rent don't think they need household insurance as they are not responsible for the roofs over ther heads. What the often neglect is the household furniture that they have spent thousands of dollars on and will not be able to replace cheapy. If you do own the household and are renting out the property then household insurance is a must as replacing infrastructure can be a very costly business.
If you don't think you need household insurance that may be good and well but always remeber what you have invested in your property and how much it cost to put in orginally. Allow for inflation adjustment and you may be surprised at how expensive it will all be to replace.
As already stated fire insurance is a very big hazard in the GCC middle east states. Fire causes more harm that people can imagine and can come from different areas like electrical, sun magnification and human error. Don't let fire damage get you when you are least expect it. Take out the fire insurance you need and make your household secure and trouble free. It really doesn't cost alot for peice of mind.
